I had the pleasure of joining guest host Dr. Merrill Matthews (filling in for Kerby Anderson) on Point of View Radio today to discuss my recent article for The Dispatch, “The Greenland Deal Is Good, Actually.” The interview was livestreamed online and could be heard on a wide variety of syndicated stations around the country. In the 30-minute segment, which starts about an hour into the video embed above, we spoke about the geopolitical importance of Greenland, the history of American involvement there, and the specifics of the prior security agreement between the US, Denmark, and Greenland. I explained why the new deal was necessary and how it solves several of the issues vis a vis Greenland that have arisen in the 21st century, especially the polar push by our Chinese adversaries.
